Cotes du Rhone: Two Bedroom Paris Apartment on the Left Bank, Eiffel View!

This elegant and sunny Parisian apartment is located in the heart of Paris’ 7th arrondissement on the Left Bank, one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Paris. It features two bedrooms and one and one half bathrooms and is located only three blocks from the Seine River, across the street from the famous Champs de Mars Gardens, and is walking distance to landmarks, monuments, cafés, fashion boutiques and affordable bistros. The apartment is situated in a well-maintained building dating from the 1800’s. It has been fully remodeled to a high standard and measures approximately 63 square meters. Yes there is an elevator! Click here to read more about the apartment neighborhood in the 7th arrondissement.

This apartment is offered at € 849,000, including all furnishings, appliances and accessories. It's an ideal pied a’ terre in Paris with an excellent team to manage it when you are away.

Take the elevator to the 4th floor (5th floor American) and step into the apartment. There is a long hallway that connects to all of the rooms. Ahead and slightly left you’ll find the long living room and dining room. This is a rare corner apartment which means the sun shines in from different angles into the living room throughout the day. It’s a special bonus and one of the factors we think about when we view Paris apartments -- high floors and sunlight -- you’ll appreciate the natural light on overcast days or in winter, when the sun sets at 3:30 pm.

The dining area is directly ahead and living room beyond, subtly divided by the elegant antique marble decorative fireplace.

This double room features four large French windows that open onto a beautiful tree-lined avenue and side street below. It’s beautifully decorated, but you can’t resist walking to the corner window where you gaze at La Grande Dame de Paris, or the incredible Eiffel Tower literally across the street. After sunset, you will have a front seat view when the magic light show begins. It is an unforgettable experience, whether this is your fifth or hundredth visit to Paris. It begins after dark on the hour and lasts five minutes; the skies light up and 20,000 lights begin to twinkle. You’re so close that you can see the observation deck on the second floor.

This is one of the most sought after streets in Paris and you’ll find yourself in excellent company, because the Royal Family of Monaco’s apartment is literally across the street; you can see the golden crests on their balconies.

Force yourself to turn your gaze towards the tree-lined avenue below, enjoying a glimpse of daily Parisian life, which makes staying here so special: customers lining up for their daily baguettes at one of our favorite pastry shops across the street, parents taking children to school or heading off to work (all so nicely dressed!), crossing to the gardens to play petanque or meet old friends, friends having lunch, locals heading to one of the best open air markets in Paris across Pont de l’Alma bridge. These vignettes from your living room are what make living in Paris so special; being able to watch every moment of the day.

The living room has been restored to its original beauty including the beautiful caramel-colored oak parquet floors and pretty moldings. The accents are in pale yellow and taupe, with striped curtains that highlight the colors. Find a mixture of French country furniture paired with modern, high quality upholstery. The sofa for example, flips open to make into a double bed at night without having to remove any cushions. We imported the sofa from Italy, the best source we could find for comfortable every night sleeping. Facing it are two comfortable chairs, covered in a beige-checked tartan wool from England.

To the right of the sofa is a pretty olive green and limed-oak console table which can also serve as a desk. Hanging above is a delightful print of a lantern design dating from the 1800’s with beautiful solid oak frame. The antique decorative fireplace is a warm focal point, of black Italian marble and large white mirror above.

The dining table is an antique style round oak table that expands to seat 8. Find a chocolate leather console table against the wall and tall lamps for soft lighting, handy for buffet style entertaining in Paris. To the right is a storage cupboard. Facing the table to the left of the entry is a beautiful antique style dresser in pale olive with limed oak top. A gold leaf mirror dating from the 1800’s hangs above, decorated with wrought iron candlesticks and old black and white photos of Paris, adding the perfect French country touch.

Step into the corridor and next on your left is the master bedroom. We fell in love with the views and upper floor location of this apartment, but the layout appealed because each room can access the corridor separately, so if you’re up in the middle of the night, you won’t disturb people in another room.

The master bedroom is furnished in pale greens with beautiful pastel colored floral curtains. Find a queen-sized bed framed by linen curtains with ivory colored wooden headboard, a very romantic feel. Lamps on the side tables and chandelier mean good lighting, small but important features so you read a book before bed or plan your next day. Tall cupboards were built-in on the right for plenty of storage, plus a console table that holds a flat screen TV and DVD player on the left.

The windows throughout the apartment are double-glazed for good sound insulation, the same as used in luxury hotels.

Back to the hallway and next on your left is the second bedroom, with two single beds on either wall and built-in closet at the end on your right The room overlooks a side street below. We’ve decorated it in pale creams and periwinkle blue for a fresh look. Charming pictures grace the walls, accented by the blue and cream striped curtains.

On the right and opposite the second bedroom you’ll find the powder room, with toilet and small sink. It is decorated in beige marble with a charming picture of yellow fish on the walls. Having a separate toilet with sink is handy for extra getting-ready room.

At the end of the corridor is the bathroom. There is a bathtub/shower combination – including both a fixed shower head and a flexible one. There is a round porcelain over-the-counter sink, on a beige marble counter. We’ve installed a narrow glass shelf for extra toiletries and a deep medicine cabinet for storage. Find halogen lights for good lighting, a small but important feature, as well as a large hot water tank. We used small square botticcino tiles for the walls which add a warm and elegant finish.

The final room on your right is the kitchen, fully remodeled with every convenience. The cabinets have pale cappuccino-colored lacquer doors and white and beige granite countertops. You’ll find a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, washer/dryer combination, microwave/convection oven, toaster, stove, Nespresso maker, coffee maker and a full range of pots, pans and cooking tools! The kitchen window overlooks an inner courtyard.

This is an excellent pied a terre and investment in Paris. If you are interested in buying this Paris apartment and having us manage it when you’re away, please email us at: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Our decision to rent Cotes Du Rhone for our spring break trip to Paris was a fantastic decision. After a long day of walking and museum tours, it was fantastic to come back to a centrally located, beautifully furnished, clean apartment to relax in. ...

We came to Paris to celebrate our surrogate daughter's 30th birthday. When booking online, one never is sure what to expect. However, when I opened the door to the apartment, I fell in love. We can't say enough about the apartment's appearance, cleanilness and French decor. All of our expectations were met beyond imagination. This apartment has a "to-die-for" location and we felt like we were part of the local scene. We became friends with the owner of Le Relais de la Tour restaurant close to the apartment as well as some of the vendors. Having been to Paris multiple times in the past our only regret is that we didn't know about ParisPerfect. Book now, you won't regret it!
